OMEGA Lab is honored to welcome post-doctoral researcher Joel Troughton.
Originally from England, Joel moved to Wales to study his B.Eng and Eng.D at Swansea University. His doctoral thesis, entitled “Processing and Scale-up of Perovskite
Solar Cells”, explored novel thermal annealing methods and device architectures for the then-new perovskite solar cells. In the OMEGA lab, Joel will further explore the degradation mechanisms in perovskite and other organic materials, as well as
expand his knowledge into other technologies such as organic thermoelectric generators.
